Innovations have emerged as one of the prime factors to drive all the economy, whether they are all about creating innovations in ideas, infusing quality in the processes, making advanced technology, transfusing automation in industries, or fostering education for future challenges. In midst of the COVID -19 pandemic, innovations have created new and very different technological platforms and people centric ecosystems. In a country like India, also outranked fairly on global innovation index, follows input and output parameters to manage creation of innovations as a system. Based on exploratory approach for studying academic literature and secondary data collected, related articles appearing in the international and national journals are analyzed closely so that the following evolving questions can be answered: What are the key existing key constructs of innovation driving the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Movement and how can be instrumental in transformational change in whole gamut of Indian economy? (ii) Can Aatmanirbhar Bharat Movement initiative adequately address innovations to face ongoing challenges at input and output levels? And also do government forums, and policy makers need further research and development of any kind? Further, can we measure establish innovation practice to support Aatmanirbhar Bharat Movement to suggest means for improvement in Indian economy in a post pandemic situation? (iii) What resources, strategies, and competences are required to adopt innovations in accelerating Aatmanirbhar Bharat Movement, across all the sectors, from urban to rural, in post pandemic?
Using content analysis, firstly possible outcomes from the study may highlight the contours of all the factors that affect successful implementation of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Movement ensuring input and outputs of innovations. Therefore, this research papers in the boarder concept of innovations are focused on reviving current state of art of innovations through Aatmanirbhar Bharat Movement in post pandemic situation, might support to make comments on innovation practices by government appropriate for use of Indian economy in any sense and add manners of reshaping the complete innovation ecosystem itself. On its implication’s aspects, this research might serve as a beginning point for the study of innovation for the movement, particularly in the context of managing input and output elements of innovations in Indian economy in a broader sense, knowledge, and research practice infusion to harbinger of a paradigm shift via liberalization, privatization, and globalization. The study on innovations in post-Covid-19 era may usher in unprecedented opportunities of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Movement provided the innovations are correctly understood, created, and harnessed adequately.
